Coopered floors offer rich natural colours. There is no gloss and no artificial surface to scratch. They stand up to daily traffic well, and are easy to maintain. Over time they are likely to continue to improve in colour as additional patina develops.

Before the floor is moisturised, it can be prepared by using the Coopers Stripping process to remove the old finishes, and sanding is not required. This preserves the hardened layer of timber that has built up, over time, along with the natural rustic rich appearance and colour.

Therefore, an already sanded floor is not suitable for finishing with the Moisturiser as this hardened layer has been removed, and the durability and charachter have been lost.

Also use Coopers to strip lino glues and other compounds that may be stuck to the flooring.
